Get ready for an unforgettable experience in the Peruvian Andes. We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco between 04:30 and 05:00 a.m. in our private transport, to start an exciting adventure towards the community of Quiquijana, in a journey of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Before starting the walk, you will enjoy a buffet breakfast, ideal to recharge your batteries and prepare for the day. Along the way, you will be able to observe the local fauna, high Andean communities in their natural environment and their traditional clothing that enrich the cultural experience.
Upon arrival at Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca), you will have 20 minutes to explore this impressive natural phenomenon, accompanied by our expert guide who will explain its geology, history and cultural significance.
Then, we will continue with a descent of approximately 30 minutes towards the amazing Red Valley, a little explored place with unique landscapes. Here we will take a tour of about 2 hours, exploring its geological formations and enjoying the intense reddish tones that make it perfect for lovers of nature and photography.
After finishing the walk, we will return to the parking lot where our bus will be waiting to take us to the restaurant. Finally, we will begin the return trip to Cusco, with an estimated arrival around 6:00 p.m., depending on traffic.
