🚴 DAY 1: CUSCO - ABRA MÁLAGA - HUAYOPATA Start
We start the adventure very early. At 6:00 a.m., we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco to embark on a private transport journey to the starting point of our trek.
After approximately 4 hours of travel, we will arrive at Abra Málaga (4,300 masl), where the biking descent begins, enjoying the wonderful views that will surround us throughout the route. Continuing, accompanied by our guide, we will reach the archaeological center of Huamanmarca to learn a bit about the history of the place. Upon arrival, we will have time to enjoy the delicious lunch prepared with local products. Transfer to Huayopata. In the evening, we will have our dinner. Overnight and rest.
☕ DAY 2: HUAYOPATA - COFFEE ROUTE Cultural
After an early breakfast to recharge our energy, we start the Coffee Tour, a unique experience where you will meet organic coffee producers and their families. We will walk through the plantations, participate in the harvest, and learn the entire process: depulping, hulling, roasting, and grinding. You will also learn about different coffee varieties. At the end, you can prepare your own artisanal coffee and taste it! Then, we will enjoy a delicious traditional lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit the cocoa plantations, where we will learn about its collection and the process to make cocoa paste and chocolate. Time for dinner. Overnight and rest.
⚡ DAY 3: SANTA TERESA - COCALMAYO HOT SPRINGS Adventure
We will start the day with a nutritious breakfast, preparing for an exciting morning of adventure. Our first activity will be an unforgettable Zipline experience, lasting approximately 2 hours. This adrenaline-filled activity will allow us to enjoy panoramic views while crossing over the jungle landscape. Time for lunch. Later, you will have the option to visit the relaxing Cocalmayo hot springs (entrance not included), perfect for resting in natural hot water pools surrounded by tropical vegetation. After that, we will enjoy a delicious dinner. We close the day staying in a cozy accommodation in Santa Teresa.
🏯 DAY 4: HIDROELECTRICA - MACHU PICCHU - CUSCO Final
Very early in the morning, we will head to Hidroeléctrica and take the train towards Aguas Calientes. We arrive in Aguas Calientes and take the CONSETTUR tourist bus that will take us to the entrance of the Machu Picchu Historical Sanctuary. During the tour, our professional guide will share valuable information about the history, architecture, and spiritual meaning of the temples, ceremonial enclosures, sacred squares, and other structures of the Inca city. Subsequently, you will have free time to explore on your own and take unforgettable photos in this magical place. Upon finishing the visit, we will board the bus back to Aguas Calientes, where we will have time for lunch. At the scheduled time, we will head to the train station to begin the journey to Ollantaytambo. From there, our private transport will take you back to the city of Cusco. Thus concluding this unforgettable experience in the heart of the Andean world.
