We start our adventure with pickup from your hotel or a central point in Arequipa. We begin the journey towards the spectacular Colca Valley.
🐪 Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve (Pampa Cañahuas) Natural Reserve
Our first stop is this natural reserve, home to vicuñas, alpacas, and llamas in freedom. Here we admire impressive Andean mountain landscapes and learn about the importance of this protected area.
🌿 Patahuasi – Tacra: highland flora and fauna Ecosystem
We continue to the Patahuasi area, where we get to know the high-altitude ecosystem. In the Tacra area, you can observe unique species of flora and fauna typical of the highlands, such as queñuales and Andean birds.
❄️ Patapampa – Volcanoes Viewpoint (4,800 m a.s.l.) Viewpoint
We continue ascending to the highest point of the route. From this natural viewpoint, we contemplate a panoramic view of the volcanoes Misti, Chachani, Ampato, and Sabancaya. A must-stop for taking impressive photos!
🏡 Arrival in Chivay and hotel check-in Check-in
We arrive in the city of Chivay, capital of the Colca Valley. We check into our respective hotels to rest and prepare for the afternoon.
🛶 Optional visit to La Calera Hot Springs (Chacapi) Optional
In the afternoon, you have the opportunity to relax in the hot springs, surrounded by a spectacular natural environment. The pools have therapeutic properties, ideal for recharging energies.

🗓️ Day 2: Yanque – Colca Canyon – Chivay – Arequipa

Our first stop is the charming town of Yanque, famous for its colonial church and the traditional Wititi dance, declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
🏞️ Tour through the Colca Valley Scenic
We continue crossing the beautiful valley, where you will admire the ancestral pre-Incan cultivation terraces, surrounded by mountains, native flora, and Andean birds. An unforgettable scenic route.
🦅 Cruz del Cóndor Viewpoint Spectacle
We arrive at the most anticipated point of the tour. From this strategic viewpoint, we observe the majestic flight of the Andean condor soaring over the canyon abyss. A unique and exciting natural spectacle.

On the way back, we make stops in the villages of Yanque and Maca, where you can walk through plazas, visit colonial churches, and learn more about local daily life and crafts.
