Description
We start with the pick-up from your hotel in Cusco at 8:00 a.m. and travel in private transport to Mollepata. From there we start the hike through Andean landscapes to Soraypampa, where we have lunch and rest. In the afternoon, we ascend to the beautiful Humantay Lagoon, surrounded by mountains and glaciers. Upon returning, we enjoy "tea time", dinner and rest at the camp. Dome option available at an additional cost.
After an energetic breakfast, we begin the ascent to the Salkantay Pass (4,600 m), the highest point of the trek, with incredible views of the snow-capped mountain. Then we explore the Salkantay Lagoon, before returning to Soraypampa for lunch. We end the adventure by returning to Cusco.

We start the adventure with a personalized pickup from your accommodation. Then, we will head in private transport to Mollepata, a comfortable and safe journey that lasts approximately 2 hours.
🥾 Start of the hike in Mollepata Trekking
Here we begin the hike on an impressive Andean trail. Along the way, we will visit the archaeological site of Challacancha, enjoying its views and natural surroundings. The hike lasts about 3 hours until we reach the camp in Soraypampa.
🍽️ Lunch and rest in Soraypampa Energy
We will enjoy a fresh and local lunch at the Soraypampa camp, followed by a short break to prepare for the next stage of the trek.
💎 Hike to Humantay Lagoon Natural Jewel
After lunch, we will hike for about an hour and a half to the Humantay Lagoon, at the foot of the imposing Humantay Mountain. We will enjoy the spectacular landscape and receive a detailed explanation of its natural and cultural value.

Around 5:00 p.m. we will return to the camp in Soraypampa, where we will enjoy a "tea time" to relax and share while contemplating the Andean sky, ideal for learning about local astronomy and nocturnal traditions.
