DAY 1: Cusco – Tambomachay – Qoricocha – Pukamarca

🚌 Pickup from your hotel in Cusco Start

We begin the adventure with pickup from your accommodation in the morning. In a private transport journey of approximately 30 minutes, we will arrive at the archaeological site of Tambomachay (3,700 m a.s.l.), an important Inca ceremonial center related to water and the rest of the Inca elite.

🚶‍♂️ Start of the hike Trekking

We start our trek towards the Qoricocha lagoon ("golden lagoon"), surrounded by mountains, high Andean flora, and spectacular landscapes with views of the valley and natural formations.

⛰️ Ascent to the Pukamarca community 6-7 hours

The hike continues through Inca trails and puna landscapes until we reach the rural community of Pukamarca, after about 6 to 7 hours of moderate hiking. Upon arrival, we will be welcomed by local families with whom we will share a traditional lunch made with local products.

🏕️ Afternoon and overnight Rest

After exploring the village and learning about its culture, we will settle into our camp to rest and spend the night under a stunning starry sky, surrounded by the tranquility of the Andes.

DAY 2: Pukamarca – Huchuy Qosqo – Lamay – Cusco

We start the day with a nutritious breakfast to recharge our batteries before resuming the hike.

🚶‍♂️ Start of the hike 1.5 hours

We set off towards the archaeological complex of Huchuy Qosqo. The route takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, following an ancient Inca trail with impressive views of the Sacred Valley.

🏛️ Guided tour of Huchuy Qosqo Archaeology

Once at the archaeological site, we will explore its imposing Inca structures with our guide: terraces, canals, ceremonial enclosures, and sacred plazas. This place, known as "Little Cusco," was an important administrative center with privileged views of the Vilcanota River.

↘️ Descent to Lamay 2 hours

After the visit, we begin the descent to the town of Lamay (approximately 2 hours), enjoying the landscapes of the Sacred Valley along the way.

🍽️ Comforting lunch Flavors

Upon arrival in Lamay, a lunch awaits us, ideal for closing this Andean experience with flavor and tradition.

🏠 Return to Cusco 17:00

After lunch, our private transport will take you back to Cusco. Arrival is scheduled for around 5:00 p.m., with drop-off at your hotel or a central point in the city.
