We start our day with pick-up from your hotel in the city of Cusco at approximately 7 am. Our transport will pick you up promptly to start this unforgettable experience.
We will travel by road to the picturesque town of Chinchero, located at 3762 m a.s.l. This will be the starting point of our hike. Here we can briefly enjoy the Andean environment and prepare for the trekking day.
We will begin the hike on ancestral trails used by the ancient Incas. The journey will take us through spectacular landscapes, mountains, valleys, Andean flora, and local communities.
Along the way, we will make stops to rest, take photos, and enjoy the natural environment, while our guide shares information about the culture and history of the place.
Once at the archaeological site of Huchuy Qosqo, located above the Sacred Valley, we will take a full guided tour. We will learn about the history of this important Inca center, its architectural structures, agricultural terraces, and the impressive panoramic view of the valley. There will also be free time to explore the site and take photos.
After the visit, we will begin the descent to the town of Lamay. The path will take us through unique natural landscapes until we reach the town, where we will have a well-deserved rest.
Continuing, we will enjoy a typical lunch prepared with local ingredients.
After lunch, our private transport will pick us up to return to the city of Cusco. The return trip will take approximately 1.5 hours to Cusco. End of our service.
