The tour begins with a visit to Pastoruri Glacier and the Climate Change Route, passing through Patococha Lagoon, the Puya Raimondi forest, and the seven-colored lagoon. The second day is dedicated to the majestic Parón Lagoon, the largest in the mountain range, surrounded by imposing mountains. On the third day, explore the archaeological legacy of Chavín de Huántar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the beautiful Querococha Lagoon. The fourth day covers the Callejón de Huaylas, with stops in traditional towns like Carhuaz and Yungay, and a visit to Llanganuco Lagoon, located between the Huascarán and Huandoy glaciers. Each day includes transfers from Huaraz, panoramic stops, free time to explore, and accommodation, providing a rich Andean experience in landscapes, history, and living culture.

Day 1: Pastoruri Glacier – Puya Raimondi – Climate Change Route Departure 09:00
Departure from Huaraz at 09:00 AM towards Pastoruri Glacier. On the way, we will visit Patococha Lagoon, the Puya Raimondi forest, and the 7-colored lagoon (Pumapashimin). From the campsite area, we will do an approximate 1-hour hike (round trip) towards the glacier along the Climate Change Route. Return to Huaraz around 18:00. Accommodation at the hotel.
Day 2: Parón Lagoon Departure 07:00
Breakfast at the hotel and departure towards Parón Lagoon. Traveling through the Callejon de Huaylas, we will pass through Carhuaz, Yungay, and Caraz. From Caraz, we will take the road towards the Parón ravine until the lagoon (≈4,185 masl). Free time to explore, take photos, and have lunch (bring box lunch). Return to Huaraz approx. 18:00. Accommodation.
Day 3: Chavín de Huántar – Querococha Lagoon Departure 09:00
Departure southwards crossing the Callejon de Huaylas and the Conchucos Valley, with panoramic stops in Recuay, Ticapampa, and Catac. We will visit Querococha Lagoon (≈3,980 masl) and then the Chavín de Huántar archaeological site for a guided tour. Return to Huaraz approx. 19:00. Accommodation.
Day 4: Llanganuco Lagoon / Callejon de Huaylas Departure 09:00
Departure towards the Callejon de Huaylas with a stop in Carhuaz to visit the church and taste artisanal ice creams (optional). We will visit the Yungay Campo Santo and Llanganuco Lagoon (≈3,850 masl), between the Huascarán and Huandoy glaciers. Free time for photos and lunch (not included). Return to Huaraz approx. 19:30. Accommodation.
End of Itinerary and Closure Final
At the end of the last day of excursions, return to Huaraz. End of contracted services and transfer to accommodation if applicable.
