Description
Our adventure to the Machu Picchu Tour begins very early, around 4:00 a.m., with pickup from your hotel in Cusco. From there, we will travel in our tourist transport to the train station in Ollantaytambo, a journey that takes approximately 2 hours. Once at the station, we will board the train to Aguas Calientes (also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo).
This train journey takes about 2 hours, and during the trip, you can enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the Sacred Valley and the high Andean jungle. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, we will board the tourist bus that will take you on a journey of approximately 25 minutes to the entrance of the Inca City of Machu Picchu.
Once at the entrance, you must present your entrance ticket, along with your identification document. Immediately, the guided visit to the archaeological complex will begin, where our professional guide will offer a detailed explanation of the history, architecture, and mysteries surrounding this wonder of the world.
At the end of the guided tour (approximately 2 hours), you will have free time to explore on your own, take photographs, or simply enjoy the natural and spiritual surroundings of Machu Picchu. Afterwards, you will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes, where you will have time to have lunch and rest before boarding the return train.
In the afternoon, we will be ready to board the return train to Ollantaytambo station, where our transport will be waiting to finally take you back to your hotel in Cusco. Therefore, this will be our travel experience on the Machu Picchu 1-day Tour.
