On the HUMANTAY LAGOON full day tour you will get to know the famous Humantay Lagoon which takes its name from the nearby snow-capped mountain (Humantay, 5,473 m) and is considered one of the most beautiful and sacred lagoons in Cusco. Its turquoise waters adorned with the snow-capped peaks of Salkantay (6,270 m) and the Humantay mountain are the cause of its popularity.
To start the HUMANTAY LAGOON FULL DAY tour, we will pick you up from your hotel with our tourist transport. Then we will travel for 2 hours to Mollepata (a town northeast of Cusco). On the way we will pass through Limatambo (flowery valley) and make stops at the Marcahuasi Viewpoint.
Upon arrival in Mollepata we will have a stop to enjoy our breakfast. After breakfast we will continue our journey in our transport to Soraypampa which is at 3,912 masl. Then, we will begin our trek to the Humantay Lagoon, where we will appreciate a beautiful scenery, with impressive views of the Humantay and Salkantay snow-capped mountains.
After a brief explanation we will return to the bus station in Soraypampa. Where our transport awaits us to take us back the same way, we will make another stop in Mollepata for lunch.
After lunch we will continue our transport to the City of Cusco. Finally, we will leave you near your Hotel, end of our services.
