Our adventure begins at 8:00 am, we will pick you up at your hotel in Cusco aboard our tourist transport. Our professional guide will give you a brief introduction to the tour and provide you with key information to fully enjoy the tour.
Our first stop will be in the town of Maras, a colonial-era Andean community, famous for its cobblestone streets, adobe houses with tile roofs, and its living history. There you will learn about the cultural legacy that is still preserved in the area.
Then, we will go to Moray, an ancient Inca agricultural research center. Its descending circular terraces were used by the Incas to experiment with crops in different microclimates. It is a unique site full of history that reveals the advanced knowledge of this civilization.
Our last visit will be to the impressive Salineras de Maras, where more than 3,000 salt pans have been exploited by hand since pre-Inca times. You will be able to observe the traditional salt collection process and appreciate this incredible white landscape that covers the mountainside.
Finally, we will return to the city of Cusco, arriving at approximately 2:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
