GENERAL DESCRIPTION
EXPERIENTIAL AND CULTURAL TOURISM FULL DAY
Experiential and cultural tourism. We started at sunrise at 6.00 a.m. Approximately, we will pick you up from the city of Cusco in our mobility, and then we will go to the Chinchero district (3750 m.s.n.m.) towards the Cuper Bajo community in 1h 20 min. approx. First, upon arrival, we will first comply with the bio-security protocols, then we will witness a wonderful reception with indigenous songs and dances by the mothers of the Qori Simpas Association.
First, we will start with the dissertation of stories and legends of the place in the Archaeological Center of Cuper Bajo, then we will take a short 10-minute walk to the community’s cultivation area, and then we will be part of the agricultural work. Then we will return to the Qori Simpas house and continuing with the tour there will be an explanation of the process of making the textiles and then we will taste a delicious traditional lunch based on natural products from the area.
Immediately at 12 p.m. We will take the way to the magnificent Cruz Pata viewpoint of the Huaypo lagoon, where the traveler will take part in a ceremony at Pacha Mama and can also take pictures. Then we’ll go to the Zurite district, where we’ll make a short stop and appreciate the Zurite platforms, classified as the largest platforms in the world. Later we will visit the beautiful archaeological center of Killarumiyoq, in the town of Ancahuasi, which was built to pay homage to the Moon in Quechua “Mama Quilla”. During the tour, we’ll do a short walk observing the wonderful Inca constructions as well as the landscape.
Finally, at 5.30 p.m. We will return to the city of Cusco.

- 6.00 am Transfer from the city of Cusco.
- Transportation in our private vehicle to the Cuper Bajo Community, located in the Chinchero district
- Afterward, a hospitable and friendly reception by the mothers of the Qori Simpas Association with songs as well as typical dances.
- Continuing with the tour, carrying out experiential and cultural activities in the Qori Simpas Association, such as an explanation of the textiles in the area, stories and legends, and also agricultural activities.
- Immediately delicious lunch at the Qori Simpas Association.
- Continuing with the tour we will visit the Cruz Pata viewpoint, where the beautiful Huaypo lagoon will be observed and a ceremony will be held at the Pachamama.
- We will also make a small stop at the Zurite Platforms, where you will observe the platforms with crops in sowing season.
- To finish, visit the archaeological center of Killarumiyoq where we’ll do a short walk of 30 min. and we will also see some Inca Huaca.
- 5.30 pm: We leave for the city of Cusco.
