Experiential Tourism tour, is actually considered the other cultural and adventurous face of the Chinchero district, it is a unique and unmissable experience. The tour lasts 1 day and is excellent for lovers of adventure, spirituality, living culture, and interaction with the local population. Likewise, this tour is experiential, since it is eminently participatory.

Certainly, on the route one will enjoy the wonderful landscapes of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, unique water bodies, a variety of flora and fauna (a large number of birds), and the interaction with native inhabitants who show us the simplicity and joy with the one they live.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Experiential Tourism tour begins at sunrise 6.00 a.m. approx., first we will pick you up from the city of Cusco in our mobility. First, we will go to the Chinchero district, located at 3750 m.a.s.l. In the direction of the Piuray Lagoon, located in the community of Pongobamba, the trip lasts 1 hour. approx. Upon arrival we will first comply with the biosafety protocols, then we will do different water activities such as Kayak, Stand Up Paddle, and Sup Yoga.

At 12. 00 hours we will go to the community of Cuper Bajo located at 3750 m.a.s.l., where the mothers of the Qori Simpas Association are waiting for us, it should be noted that in Spanish it means Golden Braids, who in the first place will give us an unforgettable reception with songs and dances natives of the area. Something that you cannot miss for any reason!

Then we will hear the myths and legends, in the Archaeological Center of Cuper Bajo, located in the center of the community. Later, continuing with the tour, we will start a walk through the fields of the Qori Simpas Association and participate in agricultural activities, depending on the season of the year.

Afterward, we will taste a delicious traditional lunch and also a tea based on aromatic herbs. Finally, we will have a broad explanation about the textiles of the town of Cuper Bajo, starting with the process of shearing wool obtained from alpacas, vicuñas, and sheep; Then we will see the process of washing, dyeing, spinning, weaving, and finally, we will be shown the final product. Finally, from 5:00 p.m., we will return to the city of Cusco.
