MACHUPICCHU
The llaqta of Machupicchu represents a masterpiece of art, architecture, and engineering in perfect harmony with nature and is the most important legacy of the Inka civilization to humanity. It was abandoned during the second half of the 16th century; however, it was never lost as it was occasionally visited and inhabited.
7 COLOURS MOUNTAIN
The Mountain of the 7 Colors (also called Vinicunca or simply “rainbow”) is one of the new and best attractions in Peru. Located more than 100 kilometers from the city of Cusco, on an altitude summit located at 5,200 meters above sea level (m.a.s.l.) It is a mountainous formation tinged with various nuances as a result of the complex combination of minerals. The slopes and summit are stained in various shades including red, purple, green, yellow, pink, and other variations. This tourist attraction was surrounded by ice not many years ago.

Day 1: CUSCO CITY AND ITS SURROUNDINGS
- Welcome to the airport of Cusco.
- Transfer to your hotel.
- City tour around the mysterious city of Cusco and its surroundings
- First visits to the city the cathedral and Qorikancha.
- Then, visit outside the city of Cusco, Qorikancha, Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puka Pucara and Tambomachay.
- Return to the city of Cusco.
- Transfer to your hotel.
- End of the day.
Day 2: SACRED VALLEY – CUSCO
- Start of the tour with pick up from your hotel at 08:00 am.
- First, visit the Archaeological Center of Pisac.
- Then, visit the handicraft market of Pisac, famous for its originality.
- We will continue the tour by bus to the city of Urubamba.
- Lunch in Urubamba.
- Then visit Ollantaytambo.
- In Ollantaytambo, it is here where we will board the train to sleep in “Aguas Calientes”.
Day 3: “AGUAS CALIENTES” – MACHUPICCHU – CUSCO
- After breakfast, we will board the bus to Machu Picchu.
- Entrance to the Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu at 08:00 a.m.
- Guided tour in the INCA Citadel of Machu Picchu for 2 hours.
- Free time for taking pictures in Machu Picchu.
- Return by bus to “Aguas Calientes”.
- Then, return by train to Ollantaytambo for 2 hours
- From Ollantaytambo by car to the city of Cusco
- Arrive near the Main Square of your hotel.
Day 04: CUSCO – 7-COLOR MOUNTAIN
- Pick-up from your hotel at 04:00 a.m. in our minivan.
- Start of the trip south of Cusco at 05:00 a.m.
- Transportation from Cusco – Japura for 3 hours.
- Delicious breakfast in Japura.
- Then, we will continue by car to Pampachiri for 30 minutes.
- Walk from Pampachiri to Vinincunca, climb for 2 hours.
- Guided tour in the 7-Color Mountain for 30 minutes.
- Return to Pampachiri descent for 1 hour.
- Transport in our minivan from Pampachiri to Japura.
- Buffet lunch in Japura at 01:30 p.m.
- After lunch, return to the city of Cusco for 3 hours.
- Arrive at the city of Cusco at 06:00 p.m.
Day 05: HOTEL – AIRPORT
- Breakfast at your hotel 2 hours before your trip.
- Pick-up in our transport at your hotel.
- Transport to the airport.
- Farewell greetings for your early return.
ITINERARY
Day 1: CUSCO CITY AND ITS SURROUNDINGS
First, we will wait for you at the airport to welcome the archeological capital of America to Cusco. Then, transfer to your hotel, you will have time to acclimatize all morning. We will pick you up in the afternoon at 02:00 p.m. from your hotel in our minivan to start the city tour. First, we will visit 2 beautiful places within the city of Cusco, the main Cathedral of Cusco and Qorikancha (beautiful Inca construction that was the supreme temple for the Sun God). Then, we will go out of Cusco visiting Sacsayhuaman (a mysterious place of construction with giant stones made by the Incas in the form of lightning).
Then, we will continue with visits to Qenqo (Inca construction that means narrow place) and we will continue the visit to two places “Puca Pukara” (Inca construction with military control functions) and finally Tambomachay (it was destined to the water cult and for the head of the Empire of the Incas could rest) end of the tour: we will return to the city of Cusco and spend the night in your hotel in the city of Cusco.
Day 02: SACRED VALLEY – CUSCO
After breakfast, we will pick you up, in our minivan by our tour guide to start the tour, through an impressive Sacred Valley of the Incas. First, we will visit the Archaeological Park of Pisac known as the city of the towers (a small Inca city where there is an Inca cemetery, an Inca bridge, the Inca cemeteries wall, terraces, and the Intihuatana which means the watch that is tied in. After the visit to Pisac, we will go to the city of Urubamba for a delicious lunch.
Our bus for about 1 hour to the Archaeological Park of Ollantaytambo (the name comes from an Inca captain (it was an archaeological construction of refuge of the great Inca general). After finishing the visit in Ollantaytambo, it is here where we will board the train to sleep in the district of “Aguas Calientes” to visit the Inca citadel Machu Picchu the next day.
Day 03: “AGUAS CALIENTES” – MACHUPICCHU – CUSCO
After breakfast, our guide will pick you up at your hotel, then take the bus to the entrance to Machu Picchu for 20 minutes, enter the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, guided tour for 2 hours and then have free time to take pictures. Then, we will return by bus to “Aguas Calientes” and continue the train trip to Ollantaytambo, from here by car to the city of Cusco. Arrival near the Main Square of Cusco of your hotel.
Day 04: CUSCO – 7-COLOR MOUNTAIN
This tour starts with the pick-up from your hotel very early at 04:00 a.m. in our minivan. Then, we will go through the Southern Valley of the city of Cusco on the paved road Cusco – Sicuani to the place called “Checacupe”. Here, we will divert east through the district of Pitumarca. Then, we will arrive at the Japur Peasant Community at 08:00 a.m. where we will have breakfast. Then, we will continue our trip in a minivan to the Peasant Community of Pampachiri for 30 minutes, we will arrive to the community of Pampachiri in our transport.
Here, we will start the trek from 2 to 3 hours until “Vinicunca” or 7-color Mountain. Here, a guided tour of 30 minutes and where you can take photos, keep in mind to not exceed the time that the guide tells you to stay on the mountain, because it can give you altitude sickness or lack of oxygen since the mountain is at a height (5,080 masl.). Then, we will go back to Pampachiri, from here return to Japura for lunch buffet at 01:30 p.m. After lunch, we will return to the city of Cusco. Arrival to the city of Cusco at 06:00 p.m. we will leave it close to the Main Square.
Day 05: HOTEL – AIRPORT
You will have your breakfast at your hotel 2 hours before. According to the indicated time of your flight, we will pick you up from your hotel in our minivan, to take you to the Alejandro Velasco Astete airport in the city of Cusco where we will have the farewell for his soon return.
